What is the Subaru Love Promise?
The Subaru Love Promise is just that. A promise. It is a promise to do right by our community by partnering with nonprofit education, health, community, environment, and animal organizations - to set Subaru apart through our deeds and the deeds of our partners. To be unlike any other car company by doing what is right and good, just for the sake of doing it.
The Love Promise starts with Subaru of America
We at Subaru of America stay true to the Love Promise by partnering with a wide variety of nonprofits and charities. In addition to these partnerships, every year Subaru, our owners, and our retailers join hands in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to charities across the country. Over the past 20 years, Subaru of America has donated over 50 million dollars to causes we care about, and logged over 28,000 volunteer hours.
All of organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.
The charities' varying focuses and passions include:
Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy. That's why we work with groups committed to that cause, including the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and the National Wildlife Federation.
Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve the earth and keep it as beautiful as we found it. The National Park Foundation and the National Wildlife Federation are just two of the thirteen environmental organizations Subaru has supported.
It's our belief that education should be accessible to everyone. That's why Subaru backs nonprofits like the Geological Society of America, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and five others who are committed to making the pursuit of knowledge available to all.
In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We have a ways to go, but for Subaru, partnering with groups like Meals on Wheels, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and fifteen others devoted to community improvement seemed like a good place to start.
Subaru believes we should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. It takes funding and research to find cures and improve access to healthcare so we've supported four groups committed to those causes, including the Alzheimer's Association and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

June 2016, Bringing Warmth and Hope
On behalf of all of us at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), including millions of dedicated volunteers nationwide, we thank you and all your colleagues at Jim Burke Subaru for participating in the inaugural Subaru Loves to Care Program with LLS.
Your support means a great deal to us, in our efforts to fund more research to find cures for cancer, and improve the quality of life for blood cancer patients and their families. Additionally, your support and enthusiasm for the work of our local LLS Chapter creates a winning partnership in the community, and a powerful team supporting cancer patients! We are honored to work with you to bring comfort, support and warmth to cancer patients during what is most likely the most difficult time in their lives.
